This is a short video showcasing my new Accucraft Ruby that I bought as a kit. This is my first live steamer and the third operating session since I assembled it.

Hey. I’m almost done assembling my Ruby kit. What did you do for the fuel line? Soft solder or silver? It’s the last thing I have left to do. Got it all done and running on air

I didn’t do either. If you look closely at the joints (they are item #10 in step 6 of the instructions) the ends are different sizes. The large end slips over the gas line and the small ends fit into the gas tank and jet holder. Once the nuts are properly tightened on the gas tank and the jet holder you should have a leak free seal.

Ah. Okay, thanks for that. Mine was one of the first ones and I never received the instructions

Would you be willing to scan the instructions an email me a copy?
@flyinglantis Жыл бұрын
@@kennybischoff6379 I could do that. It will have to be later today, though. Just so you know the instructions are nothing more than 8 drawings that show how everything fits together. And they don’t show how the roof goes on, though that is pretty self explanatory anyway. There’s no step by step instructions explaining how to put anything together.

I have the Ruby Instructions ready. I just need your email address so I can send them to you.

Can you stop with a Ruby, or will you become a full fledged addict?

You should go with the Mable it's only a couple hundred more but the extra features would definitely be worth it comming from someone who really enjoyed building a running my ruby but really wished for a boiler sightglass
