Hi Tems, Love your work very much........For painting with that compressor you will only need 20 - 25 psi.......... for fine detail down as low as 5-7 psi............ Definitely not 40 to 80. The additional filter attaches to the end of the hose that goes to your airbrush so the filter is basically the connection point. Next time you do an order from Amazon order some quick releases for the airbrush. Will make your life a lot easier.
