What helped me with Hydra was Boozor's Hydra skill tier list video. It isn't champion specific but helps you understand what skills you should prioritize. Game changer for building teams, when you don't $20k RAID account :D

Keep up the grind, coming along nicely. You have a great base to start with on normal hydra. Archer Rathalos Skrank Wixwell. If u have a block buffs AOE and Dec def att....like stag knight and an uggo...etc...

Nice pull on Skraank! I'm lacking any sort of AOE HP Burner on my team so I've only beaten up to Stage 19 because I have a Coldheart and my Conellia sleeps them and herself.

not a new champ but one I got early as part of the daily login he is in 100% of all my teams from fire knight to hydra is the Ultimate Death Knight to be honest he should be a Mythical and not a Legendary is past OP to the point of being broken

Very easy tip for hydra: you have Archer who covers a lot of things you wanna for it (mainly hex to deal with Mischief head as you can't really target that one without it and taunt ). Skraank provides burn which is great for hydra and if you have someone who can heal and place decrease ATK that's it for the start. Just avoid teams with a ton of buffs unless you have someone who can deal with mischief (which requires 350RES and them being able to guarantee they have most buffs- Wix and Archer are both great at this because their kits guarantee them extra buff) You won't get that far but you can always retry and at least for me that taught me how hydra works then any guide. And yes block buffs is super important because of poison clouds which are protected buffs so unless you can prevent them being placed you are stuck weak hitting enemies (unless they are under burn) for their next two turns. Second is head of wrath that smack for absurd amount of damage if it manages to self-buff. Carlinia sadly offers limited help with those. But there are otehr buffs some heads place (like ally protection and refled DMG+ any buff mischief steals from you) so she is not useless but one thing you'll very quickly run out of slots.
