I’ve got an issue with my etork wrench where the clicking does not actually function. Any way to reset or fix that if anyone’s encountered this issue.

Every torque wrench is gonna have bad reviews so you shouldn’t rule out your decision on a few of those. I’ve built one complete motor and torque down countless sets of LS head combos with a harbor freight unit. Santa Claus brought me one of these etork units and I’m about to torque a set of heads down, pretty excited

Bowtie Building you do have a point. I just said screw the harbor ones because I went through like 3 of them lol. I’m an very pleased with my purchase of this one though. I need to build an engine soon

@@TheGerbsteve sweet ride btw! I’ve got an 08 civic si coupe 6 speed like yours with a K20 and I love it! Update: I had to send it back because it would only go up to 20 ft-lbs! I need to go up to at least 80 ft-lbs. went out and got a Kobalt digital because harbor freight didn’t have a Quinn

I own mostly husky and craftsman tools. My torque wrenches are Snap-on. I'm all about saving money. Forget paying extra on expensive brands when its not important. What is important is torquing stuff down. That being said, if one of your buddies has a known good torque wrench to compare that yours is accurate, well then you just got yourself a nice torque wrench for 1/5th of what I paid lol.

Got the kobalt one , great wrench.. has to be strong btw.. you'll be torquing bolts up to 90-100 pounds.. craftsman has that issue , they'll snap when trying to max out the torqe it says it can do
@TheGerbsteve4 жыл бұрын
odd mods I’m glad I didn’t go craftsman honestly. We shall see how this thing holds up to future wrench sessions. What does your wrench torque up to?
