Great video John! This new bike hits the nail on the head and really fills the gap for those that like E-Mountain Bikes and E-Dirt Bikes fused together. And for that matter it could be the next generational leap in what we are seeing on the market now. These dont exist yet. So freaking cool for adrenaline junkies looking for tons of power at the twist of the throttle, and peddle for the workout when you want it. Surrons and the others in that category cant really get away with daily street riding, sooner or later the cops are going to talk to you, but this bike would most likely have them drive right by. Perfect loop hole.. Get that price down a little, improve the battery life, at least stretch it to 30 miles on a full charge, throttle only. Thats the magic combo I think for the ultimate city / dirt jumpin monster! Your next video should be on the trails, rough test it, and jumpin that bad boy. Peace!

26" was pretty much outdated. What replaced it was 27.5" and 29" all major mountain bike companies make both those sizes for trail and single track bikes. On a random note France has made great components since the gas ression of the 70's 🤘🤘

If you like that bike try the Boxxbike Valkyrie..from Czech Republic.that’s twice as fast as the Surron. 14kw of power at 87 lbs and about 2 k less that the LMX 64.. only a few of us have them here in US. Plus no issues with cops because looks like regular bike

That bike is right up my alley, I love it. You get the steely "what is it" stare where I ride. Forget sur-ron or talaria I've had both but they are no longer usable on bike paths unless your goal is to get all ebikes banned. Cops hate sur-rons now too and know what they are. I would have a LMX on order if it was more like $4500.

Throw a CVT rear wheel on it (300 USD on ebay, already built, select the Enviolo/Nuvinci 120Nm version) and upgrade to belt drive (Gates Carbon, probably about 100 bucks a cog and 100 bucks for the belt) - both those are bolt on and will delete all geartrain weakness. This is really close to the geometry I've been looking at building up in large trials frames - congrats on digging it up and actually finding one to buy. Use your refund to put the upgrades on it. There are a couple crazy new (one model doesn't even have a spot to put a post on it lol) trials frames floating around and I've been kind of wanting one as I can't use the seat anyhow so why have it on there in the first place and they're about as minimalist as you're gonna get.

Ebikes have many things that can go wrong than analog bikes. Defective wiring, sensors, battery, motor... when you get a new ebike that's built at a bike shop. It's also tested prior to being put on the floor to sell.

Get road tire. Between 2.0 and 2.5 width. The top speed, acceleration and handling would improve. Can increase speed with slimmer tire and wider diameter rim, like a 26 inch or 27.5 rim.

The OD of 27.5 and 29 is very small Its not 1.5 " as many assume. They are measured differently. So the Geo is the virtually the same. The CG and crank centerline is a little different. But that's all a trade off.

Company out of Canada makes a dual drive train ebike... Search up Biktrix Juggernaut XD. It's also pretty expensive, but not $7500 expensive, and it has a bigger battery for all that power, as well as either support or soon to have support for a second battery. My XD Duo goes about 33mph and gets there in a hurry, but it also has about a 15-20 mile range if you are using the motor heavy. (and lets be real, you don't buy this sort of bike with this kind of motor not to use the motor).

Would you rather get an ebike that has many potential defects such as wiring, sensors, batteries, motors etc. Assembled and "tested" by the actual manufacturer to ensure full proper operation. Prior to disassembling and shipping out to the consumer? Or sending everything untested direct ship so you can find out the hard way? And not being able to ride and annoy them with phone calls?

Do you realize you're complaining on top notch quality control? Only gripe is they should've cleaned the tires at least or have a separate wheelset for testing only. Local bike shops assemble and test bikes before being put on the floor to sell.
