I will go give it a try...I like that you said the substance is thinner. I think Revel is a bit on the thick side and this might be a better choice as to how it moves across the nail. Love this video!!

I didn't know sharp corners could make you more susceptible to chipping, I'm on my second set ever, and I always shape my corners pretty sharp and I've never had lifting but I have had a lot of chipping both times! Definitely going to try reshaping, and blending my edges because of your beginner friendly vids!!!

Hello and wow!, so nice. My issue is doing all these things on my own hand! Maybe is my eyesight or how to position my hand. Not sure! But here I see you do it w no problem so I should do too right!.. I am new at seeing your stuff and believe me I am not a pro tech at all! I work in healthcare my whole life so…. Wooden sticks are great!! If you want something more sustainable that you can reuse every time.. it’s a precision tool aka water marble tool. This one is from Gigis custom nails but I have some very similar ones in my storefront under “must have tools” 💞

Dip is super strong (it’s acrylic) so as long as you prep your nails well, they can last for weeks!

Second positive reveiw on this set. Very pretty. Question - After encapsulating with the gel base, you buff, if I were to continue atp this point with the gel liquid would I use a primer, base, cure, top coat and cure? I'm done with dip top liquids turning yellow on me after five days. I don't have the time or desire to do my nails every few days but would love a non yellowing top coat.

I can agree with all of the love for this set and I love how you showcased the color combination. Super pretty. My complexion is a darker shade of brown and I do not shy away from any colors but I haven't found my love of nudes/neutrals. This! may have done the trick. For a recreate, you previously did a milk bath mani. One with flowers already in the dip (I purchased it but still haven't use it) and one with adding flowers (purchased these and still haven't used them)...smh @myself. Would really like to see an update version.

Bought the kit about a week ago and finally gave it a whirl this evening. I love the fact that you legit do not have to break out the e-file because the product is thin enough not to need that. But I made the mistake of not cleaning my top coat brush between nails and it went stiff as a board on me. 😂 I quickly grabbed a replacement brush and kept trucking. I’ve only used my Nailboo kit once and the liquids do not compare to these. I remember the powders being too thick and they definitely needed filing. I’ll keep trying these out as long as no reactions come about. I’ve developed those dreadful acrylate sensitivities ad they are the worse. I made it down to once per quarter salon visits as not to take any chances. But I sure do miss my nail girl.

This is 1 of my 1st comments though, I am Still relatively new to doing my own nails and I am wondering why bring why you chose to not do the builder gel? Do u find that the peel off base coat damages the natural nails? And I'm also wondering why you chose to do the gel base coat before doing the dip top coat? I am trying to get my manicure's to last as long as possible With the least amount of damage to my natural nails

Hi Elizabeth! Thanks so much for your questions. So, I removed all the overlays bc my nails just don’t hold up well with gel, usually. That a “me thing” according to my natural nail chemistry. They just do better with acrylic over them. As far as the gel cap, it reduces bulk on the nail and it’s ultra clear. You could use clear dip if you wanted! It’s just a little thicker than a gel cap and sometimes can look grainy.

I absolutely love the mauve shade, and even though I like the I liked the glitter, I just wish it would've been just a bit more "sparkly". Yeah, I'm a bit "raccoonish", but what the hey - I like sparkly glitters. I've purchased a few of their products and so far, I haven't been disappointed. This is 100% beginner friendly! Filing and buffing definitely depends on your nails and how much you want to buff them! 💕

I’m so glad you loved the kit! Yep, top coat brushes can harden quick if it touches activator. Make sure your wiping the nails off with a paper towel after activator and wipe the brush on a paper towel after it touches the nail before going back into the bottle 💕

I swear by azure beauty dip liquids (on amazon) but they’re not super slow drying. They’re more of a medium dry. If you like SUPER slow, I’d go with dipalicious dip base or any “low odor” base, as they’re typically very slow drying.

I do prefer this kit over the lavender violets, but that’s mostly personal preference. Depending on how quickly you work, this is definitely suitable for ombré!

You can definitely wear a mask OR you can try low-scent liquids. I’ve used them from sundara and sparkle and co. Both great! 💕

Not a brush - just a cuticle tool. You can use a toothpick or cuticle stick!

Gel is a bitch to soak off.. I know.. the best way I’ve found to remove it is to file as much as you can without hitting nail. Then soak off the last little bit

It’s a “precision tool” I got it from Gigis Custom Dips up in Canada but I have a similar one linked in my amazon storefront under “tools” or you can just use a toothpick/orange wood stick! 💕
