My favourite Ren performance (not song... he is a performer) is Crutch (with Bibi). It was written about 6 years ago just before he had the Lyme's diagnosis and was still being told his illness was mostly psychological. Love your reactions! Ren did also suffer from psychosis which was brought on by the psychological shock of the intense neuropathy pain in his legs, caused by the nerve / brain damage from Lymes Disease. He had a psychological breakdown in 2016 and was hospitalised. If you watch an old video called Crutch, you will see he talks about it in the description. And sings about it in the track which is also outstanding and incredibly moving 🙏🏼

Just my personal take, he has a bunch of material that's getting slept on. Tons of reactors have done all of the same tracks of his over and over. Dive in to tracks like crutch, dominoes, Jessica that have few reactions. There's a demand for it. At least mix it in with the ones that have a thousand reactions. I definitely recommend checking out the solo work of artists he collaborated with as well. Almost all of them have their own content too. Personal fave would be Chinchilla "elements". The lyric video although it really is a full music video that simply includes lyrics in the format. Also, just want to say I appreciate you being real about acknowledging that there was something you guys missed in the previous video. A lot of his material is lyrically jam packed and it's easy to miss stuff. Much love!

Wait till you fellas get into Ren's rap rap songs like, Power, What You Want (it's an ode to The Beastie Boys) Genesis, The Hunger, Losing It... He really is the Swiss Army Knife of music. Ren and Sam Tompkins you should check out. Especially the song, "Blind Eye" BUT NOT the official music video though. Check out the live version on a KZbin channel called "Music Crown" or another live version featuring the Angry Car Park Attendant. Sam Tompkins has the highest falsetto voice I've ever heard. He actually just opened up for Justin Bieber not that long ago, and while Bieber was up performing he had Sam come out and sing with him. So that's how you know Sam is on the way up. If you want to see Ren perform live he has a live video on his KZbin page where he does The Tale of Jenny and Screech, Violet's Tale and a 4th song that goes along with the other three. He did a quick live set in one of the Alleyways where he recorded the "Tales of" trilogy and he was amazed at how many people showed up. He built a small stage, had a PA set up and the video starts with a few hundred people coming from all different directions through the alleys to get to where he set everything up. It was absolutely amazing watching him perform the song and also his interaction with fans and how funny he is. It makes you root for him even more after watching it. There's two different videos for the same performance though. One is with a 360 camera view which I don't recommend for a reaction because you have to move your cell phone around to get a good angle. And the other is your standard video. ALSO, The pig mask is a symbol for the medical and pharmaceutical industry and humanities greed. It's from the George Orwell book Animal Farm. There's some truth bombs in that book. Here's a few quotes... "Somehow it seemed as though the farm had grown richer without making the animals themselves any richer; except, of course, for the pigs and the dogs" "The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which" "All animals are equal. There's so many to react to. My favourites are Genesis, Power and The Hunger as more rap type songs. He has a few songs with chinchilla but the one I like most with her is called chalk outlines. He has a real old school hip hop vibe one called What You Want which I think you will love too. That's just the tip of the iceberg if I'm being honest. "Losing patients through the process" was an interesting perspective. I hear a lot of fellow ME/CFS patients avoiding doctors and hospitals because they are too traumatized by the process. We do lose our patience when our medical specialists are influenced by outdated guidelines based on flawed science.

Pig-Butcher or Pig-Head shows up in many of his videos, definitely used to make a point. There is a whole long thread in his music not only of his misdiagnosis / mistreatment and illness, but his upbringing and his friends, in particular his childhood friend from 8 years old, Joe, which inspired his first album 'Freckled Angels,' and recent works 'Suic*de,' and 'For Joe.' Money Game Part I and especially Part II hit hard on social commentary, those truth bombs hit hard.

Love your reaction. I just found out about Ren, a month or so ago. What is so beautiful with his art is that it transcends all genres. I mostly gravitate towards metal music but I love this artist too.... just as with Tom McDonald... if the music has a message, it DOES resonate, no matter which musical "camp" you usually find yourself in. Love your Reactions to Ren, he was Misdiagnosed for so long and told it was all in his head when he was in constant pain so knew it wasn't, but as well as the undiagnosed Lyme Disease doing his Body damage Doctors did him Psychological and Physical damage giving him Psych meds he didn't need, hence the representation of the Pig Butcher as the Medical industry. Ren does many genres and kills in all of them, you need to hear him sing, try 'Ren and Chinchilla Chalk Outlines' or 'The Big Push - I shot the sheriff/road to zion/Hip hop'. The Big Push is Ren's band, they are known for busking in the Brighton city centre.
