General Tso chicken happens to be my absolute favorite dish when it comes to Chinese food in the US. My second favorite is the Orange beef, just simple with some white rice. Your daughter has gotten so big and is super cute !! And your son giving us a little musical number. Nice that you could take the family out for a nice meal !! ❤

I had to get an order from this restaurant after your fabulous review. As expected, I was delighted with the General Taos chicken and the Beef Fo Fun. The receptionist asked how I knew about them and I told her I was there based on your review. She told me that she has had many customers saying the same thing and thanked me profusely for trying take out based on your review. I always watch your reviews and love the recommendations. My General Tao has to be EXTREMELY crunchy (twice fried) with only dark meat, along with all of the ginger, scallions, chili etc in the sauce plus crushed peanuts. Then the rice has to be fluffy egg fried rice, yellow in color. If you have a good relationship with the owners, you can just ask them to have the sauce separate - that way the chicken will remain crunchy and you can add the sauce at the last minute right before you eat it - tastes WAYYY better and fresher that way. Finally, I only buy my Chinese food from mom and pop hood spots here in NYC. The menu and pictures have to look faded like they were there since the 1980s, yellow fonts and all that. That's where the soul comes in - nostalgia of your parents taking you for Chinese food as a kid after school, so you could take it home and watch New York Undercover or In Living Color.

That Dim Sum House is incredible. A must-try spot in Cherry Hill. You can get Gen Tso's if you want but seriously, dive into their menu. Those beef scallion pancakes, the soup dumplings, the spicy beef tripe, get the REAL stuff. Then go shopping in the HUGE Asian grocery next door - Hung Vuong.

Hey family . . . best General Tso Chicken or Pepper Steak w Onions or Sesame Jumbo Shrimp or . . . House Specialty Peking Duck is in Marlton, NJ on Route 73 at "Joe's Peking Duck"!!! They do EVERYTHING and they do it SUPREMELY. Please do a review of "Joe's Peking Duck". There are four other Asian restaurants in that plaza besides Joe's but Joe's stays packed with business regardless of top true competition in the business location. You have to try it @JLJupiter

I was in Hong Kong for my first ever China work trip and on my last day I asked my HK crew after 5 hours of drinking, if we could get The General because I had to know if it’s as good as back in NYC. They looked at me like I was r*t*rded. Even after I described how it looked and tasted they had no clue. I found a Chinese dish that u can almost never fin that loved by people of OH MI PA WI Idk why. Someone said that a Chinese immigrant started making it in Columbus oh. And if y do go out of the state it just don’t taste the same. They say that the yellow gravy is like an almond white gravy. Very Leigh or u can have it dark with soy aauc sauce and oyster sauce then the chicken ready is cut like a book open it up and beat it like an op n book. Then u cost it in flour cornstarch chicken broth, chicken bouillon tumeric garlic shallots on a bed of sliced lettuce and u have to eat the lettuce to hit that crunchy feel. Then deep fried the chicken take it out put some crushed cashews or peanut nuts on top. I love the yellow sauce or gravy and if I want it to be a the white sauce I skip the soy sauce and oyster sauce but it goes with a lot of Chinese dishes. U just don’t add tuneric.

General Tso's at a Dim sum place? Dim sum is about dumplings and small dish plates. I can get the same General Tso's at any chinese take out and it all pretty much tastes the same. it is very hard to find a place with good soup dumlpings or Bao buns
