Every video feels like a masterclass on lighting. I love that you have so little focus on the camera gear itself. You have your kit and you've mastered it. It's refreshing.

that last setup with just the basic soft box... Ive spent so many years watching fashion photography breakdowns and it's so funny to sometimes pull back and realize a big soft key light is literally the only thing you need. no need for vflats, fill lights, rim lights or catch lights. plain and simple and it looks GOOD!!!! absolute favorite shot from this shoot is the one at 9:33. looks like a poster for an edgy early 90's psychological thriller with political undertones. somethin about running from the cops, cheap motels and with a pack of marlboros in his old man's leather jacket.

good video, like how you combine old school (film) with new school (light). Also, its amazing how Aperture is so late to the party of cob rgb or full color lights, but they get all the attention. Hive / Arri lights had similar lights in the market for 10 years already.

Love your results! In my opinion, these will undergo the same process that happened to Astera Titantubes... when those came out, everyone was putting them into the background of their music videos because it was a new look, then quickly people got bored by it (I already find my feed is slightly oversaturated with "spotlight" images). Then they proceeded to just be a nifty tool for more regular appliances, like making edge lights or practical lights. I can see how this Aputure LED could be my GoTo tool for simulating direct sun light with hard shadows.

Hi Linus, I LOVE the concept, creativity, beauty and style of your SUPERB - single and dual exposure - portrait photography on good old film and camera. I also mainly photograph on film (timeless BW), in square and on my old reliable V Hasselblad camera. Last but not least, your gorgeous model Zach has that irresistible feline and androgyne look that makes me think about young Jim Morrison, young Mick Jagger, or young Willem Dafoe but in a thinner and wilder style. Congratulations from Belgium to the perfect team of co-creators of Beautiful Art. Do you sell prints of your work Linus? Mick
