What a great way to use those collections we HAD to have but never used lol! This is great for beginners; also great for experts to get their "mojo" back. Sometimes you just need a quick "wow" project and this is it! Well done!

Amber that is a awesome idea for using a 12x12 to make signature pages! Your mini album turned out adorable 🥰. Thank you for sharing.

I made this little book and o just love it! I added some flaps and magnet closures. I did not use the ribbon closure, but now I regret that. But it is still the cutest thing ever! Thanks for sharing

Thanks so much for your clear explanations. I’m not crazy about some of those papers but I think that once the photos are in and all the embellishments are done, I don’t think it is going to matter about the papers. Thanks for your inspiration 👍🏻😀

Wow, what a great project! I saved some cardboard from packaging and that will make for a nice cover. Now because of your video I realized how to make a binding and do multiple signatures. I like your layout for those pages. One idea I have were you have some of the photo mats is to make a similar sized little mini journal with a few pages of lightweight paper inside. Such fun! It may be a bit but when I get a chance to make one, I’ll make a video and link yours in it so people can see where I got my inspiration! Happy crafting. Ronda

I saw a tutorial whereby they added the score tape before they trimmed off the corner pieces so that the score tape went from edge to-edge … when you trimmed the corners, you would also trim a bit of the score tape leaving tape from edge to edge. Your way works too, just thought I’d share!!! ♥️♥️♥️🌺🌺🌺

Very cute mini album and you explain your process so exactly and easily that even a beginner like me can make this! I usually have to replay parts of a video a few times before I understand, but with yours I think I got it on the first try! TFS!

Fabulous idea. I absolutely love the fact that you use the whole 12 x 12 sheet of paper and don’t have a ton of scraps. An excellent way to use up a 12 x 12 pad of paper and all of us just have a few pads. LOL! Along with the ones we have in our paper vaults. TFS! Cindy Lou

Love this journal idea. I'm always looking for a new idea to change things up. I do like the idea of making the binder tabs at 1/2". I guess that the sizes you used for the three pieces would just need to have the 1/2 added to each. Thanks for sharing this cute little journal -love it! Pamela A / PA

Your creativity simply amazes me, Amber. I'm just curious. Why this design for the binding rather than the peaks and valley method? Is it stronger, just a different method, or something else?

I love your tutorial, but I have a question. When you make the "flaps", a.k.a., hinges, why do they need to be a quarter of an inch tall? Couldn't they be a 1/2" or even 3/4" so it wouldn't be so fiddly to work with? Is there a particular reason they need to be only 1/4"?
@kathyn3978 Жыл бұрын
I know this was earlier this year, but she mentions that at about 29:00 in…and does say you could use 1/2” hinges.
