My New Favorite Trail | Hawes Big Sister | Mountain Biking Mesa Arizona

First time riding Big Sister at Hawes, and it quickly became my new favorite trail!

Great video! I'm heading to AZ in April, and we usually head up to Sedona, but since we're staying in Scottsdale, I figured I'd check out something closer. Hawes looks like an amazing trail network and Big Sister seems to be the blue trail of choice. Was also suprised to see that Desert Trails Bike Park in Mesa which we're definitely gonna check out too. Thanks for sharing!

Just rode it pretty much all day and heading back tomorrow. I can spend a week here just hitting Red Mountain Rush and Big Sister. So much fun!!

hawes is great. There are some trails in scottsdale that are arguably even better, you should check them all out. I guess this comment is prob too late though... lol but brown's ranch in scottsdale is probably the best trail system in the valley. mcdowell mtn is good too but imo hawes is 2nd best. but im biased because it's closest to me

Nice video. I was just riding in Phoenix last week (escaping the PNW rain!). My buddy & I rode this place twice. You are right, it is ALLOT of fun! As a trail-builder, I did notice the few things that needed work. The beat up (brake bump) sections, the two “iffy doubles”, and that sketchy S-turn berm near the end. I’d be out there yesterday fixing that stuff if I lived there. Also, attention Hawes Trail-keepers, that long, fast, fun section from Big Sister to the parking lot NEEDS to be developed with rollers and ez/fun features as well. That’s just wasted gravity imho.
