Ruroc is all hype, the reviews on it says a lot about how the helmet actually is. Feeling sad that you had to spent soo much on such a helmet instead of going for other brands, but it just boils down to personal preference 😊 Ride safe, stay safe mate.

Ruroc only looks good. The more research you do you will realise it's excellent marketing by sending it to tout tube folk to share it.. for the price it's just not worth it. Also, there is a reason why this helmet will never feature in Snell, rating scales. The helmet is just piss poor, the only thing that is good is the design element... Once again this isn't a premium lid(helmet) ... If you want premium look elsewhere namely Arai, Shoe, Shuberth etc... This isn't a safe good quality helmet. Also, this is the only helmet that you don't find in huge chains or stores because they know if it goes to the actual experts they will be made fun of. The Ruroc berserker was a poor lid the 3.0 is a poor one as well again it should be priced at less than 50% of the current price. The shockwave isn't some brilliant tech either... So many helmets have tech far advanced than this... The overall speaker quality and output is poor... You will find smaller channels on KZbin give actual user reviews of how bad it is... So for folks in india invest in scorpion etc which have much better helmets with better safety rating and with way less the cost or other similar brands... Also amongst the bigger KZbin channels only Yammie Noob called them out for the scam that they are... They make great snow helmets.. but their moto helmets are just bad. Dot stands for department of transportation US.

To be fair, have you seen how they ride in India, flipflops, t-shirt, shorts, no gloves, no helmet, so wearing the Ruroc will really be no different. plus they barley get above 35 mph anyway so wearing a bicycle helmet would probably provide the same amount of protection as the Ruroc, just not look as cool. Hype it up.

@@Thomas-qn4hj hmmm fair point. However in india the folks who can afford this price bracket should go for the Scorpion MT etc which are far better in terms of cost, safety and comfort. Most folks do wear helmets in the city because it's a rule not really from a safety stand point. However alot of folks on bikes have started wearing gear which is a huge plus. It will definitely take time because unlike in the western parts of the world bikes are seen as commuters and that's the reason why folks aren't open to the idea of spending x amount on gear. Having said that most folks who travel between cities or explore are geared up. Ruroc might be okay for the cities where the speeds are much lesser however wouldn't recommend it at the price point it's at even with the so called black Friday sale it's not worth it. All in all a poor lid.
