I am ecstatic to have received my new landscape (york) rake from Everything Attachments (EA). This is what they call their Severe XTreme Duty. It is an 84" rake with Cat1 and Cat2 hookup and is quickhitch compatible. You will get to see the rake being used more in upcoming videos.

Mine is ETALR-84V3.0, and yes, the offset option is $350. I kinda wish I would’ve added the offset but I had to stop somewhere. I ordered gauge wheels, a box blade, and a bucket at the same time.

Would like to see it in action for a valid reason other than raking an existing perfect drive

I'm thinking of buying a rake to scrape up the millions of small to medium size branches on my property after a logging operation. I have already cleaned up the big branches with my grapple but need something to clean the smaller stuff.
@JaredsShop
@JaredsShop 11 ай бұрын
Some small branches may get through the tines but it should grab the medium ones easily. Once you get enough medium ones caught, it will probably grab the small ones too.

Nice, Jared! How long did it take to get it from the day you ordered it.... i was looking into one of their land planes.
@JaredsShop
@JaredsShop 2 жыл бұрын
It took just shy of 17 weeks to ship and I received it 17 weeks to the day. While I like EA for many implements, their land plane is not one. I will only own and use one that has adjustable shoes or blades. If you’re only doing driveways then a fixed one is fine but having one that is adjustable makes it a much more versatile implement.

I ordered a speeco quick hitch from them the other day and while I had them on the phone I asked leadtime on a land plane and was told minimum of 16weeks. I ordered a Landpride GS2584 from my local dealer and it should be here next month

Nice video. My NH WH25S that I bought new in August has 75 hours on it, part of the time was two months back at the dealership putting a thumb on my backhoe (it was harvest time, and they had lots of farmers with broken equipment that needed repairs) so I’m not a expert by any standard. I was impressed by the fact you ran it backwards and the reason for it. I will commit that information to my skull computer, because I have trouble running it the “correct way” and causing more damage to my field. Now my thought is to run the rake like you did to smooth out the “divits and hoopti-dos” until surface has some semblance of smoothness, then reverse the tine to collect a large portion of the sticks. I had already scarfed the area with box box scraper. Then I’ll rotor till it in an attempt to get rid of the goat heads, star thistle, fruitless mulberry trees, and mustard. I plan to do it a couple times a year so my extensive crabgrass population can resemble a lawn (is only two acres), I believe I am getting more people laughing at my ignorance…lol. As I mentioned earlier, I am not an expert, I may not speak farmer-see fluently and I am sure there are people laughing at my ignorance of proper nomenclature of my surface maladies, including me, but I am sure the concept I am trying get across is successful. Again thank you for the video. I will cease inconveniencing electrons and close. Respectfully submitted Jay Huyssoon

I have the old gauge wheels, and they’re nice, but that their downfalls. Do you have the same rake from EA? They recently released a newly designed rake and set of wheels that are far better than the old wheels. They are more easily adjusted and removed. You can add them to the old rakes with a bit of welding. I purchased them and will be upgrading my rake soon.

@@JaredsShopI have the old rake and wheels and hate the wheels. I see the new design. How different is the hook up ?

@@MJF40 I purchased the new wheels but haven’t mounted them yet. I’ll make a video when I weld up the brackets and mount the new style wheels.

Bought the wheels for mine. Haven't used them yet. Do they help?
@JaredsShop

I haven’t used mine yet either. I know they are usually very useful helping to keep it on grade and level since they are riding on material that is already worked.

so, what exactly do those heavy duty wheels do ?........
@JaredsShop
@JaredsShop 2 жыл бұрын
They help with leveling. Since the tractor will be driving over ground that may not be level, and the rake is leveling ground, the wheels should be riding in level ground. That will ensure a more smooth and even grace instead of it following existing contours.
