I lived right beside a hospital for 8 years and by the time we moved not having sirens felt weird. It becomes a background noise so quickly. Yea. I grew up in Queens but used to visit BK often. Based on the Chase building, this appears to be downtown BK. The place has so many high rises it is unrecognizable now.

I just got into the tech industry as well as a intern though. Im hoping it pays off in 3-4 months when I land my first contract. Also I highly suggest getting a stabilizer for your camera, it seems kind of shaky. Enjoy that NYC life!
