I think the best way to nerf the card is to reduce the damage and increase how long the ability is. So it will still have the same amount of damage done to troops and the crown towers. But you have more time to deal with the scientist and kill it before its get to much value. The dps will be reduced but the overall damage will stay the same so hes still punishing but easier to actually deal with

Usually I play my range troop higher in the middle of the arena (when up elixir) to focus on the monster with skellies, I believe it gets a shot or 2 on tower, but I then use my tank on the doctor along with a spirit

Just kill the monster away from the tower or target and kill the doctor before they can get value with the ability, i also see that just pulling the monster to the center with a building also creates less value with the ability, and they cant cycle to another goblinstein until the doctor dies.
