WHAT? Where and how is Caustic anywhere near OP? LOL? Caustic has been the very same for the entire existence of the game except for one single change, 15% less dmg. He needs a buff rather than a nerf, but overall imo he is probably the most balanced legend atm. All his abilities and passives are useful but his size gets in the way, try playing against a wraith as caustic, you never ask for a nerf again ever. Gibraltar is around 178% bigger than wraith, if I remember correctly, almost three wraiths in one character....

Sound Rise funny because i use caustic, i used the character to get in masters from solo queuing and it’s absolutely ridiculous how easy it is to just camp your way to points with a wattson, gibby and caustic. Now i will admit wraiths are stupid but most wraiths I encounter crouch shoot so its kind of predictable. I personally think gibby is stupid because he’s already a sheild based character. He doesn’t need that 15% less damage because of the ARM SHIELD. If you find a decked out gibby he practically has 250-275 health you basically need your whole squad to take him down unless you have lstar or a decked out R99

@@PR1ME98 Congratulations you used rat strats to rank up. Obviously caustic and wattson in a single room will destroy anyone. If you actually played the game you'd see that caustic is shit on 95% of the map and brings nothing to a team fight. Wattson is top tier at the pro level for her map control, and is a better caustic in every way. When a character is "someone else but better" that someone else instantly becomes not top tier. Gibby became a better lifeline and Bangalore and (mostly lifeline) fell down the ranks. Caustic might be viable in a public lobby with dumb players where you just camp out, but being actually competitive and taking team fights he's useless

Johnathon Abbott what else are you supposed to do with those characters? You cant run and gun in this map anyway its too open for snipers. I used to be a run n gun wraith main until this map came. And I adjusted to it by using caustic and it help me hold my own in this sniper based hermit crab meta. I hate camping but its a viable way to rank up. If you cant beat em join em. I see all these ranked games where the winning teams always have one or two of the same three characters. A gibby, wattson, or caustic. Hell even when i wins in ranked i have one of those three on my team. Its undeniable that these characters are ridiculously good for endgame and building strategies and that’s why these pros survive so long in their games. Yes caustic may be useless compared to the other two but he’s still a campy stationary character and is absolutely ridiculous when used in the right hands. Look im just giving my personal thoughts on the characters im not trying to start a flame war or anything.

No no no. He WAS awful, trash tier. They buffed the christ out of him and now he's lifeline 2.0 with an extra blue shield and Bangalore ult. They also introduced the -15% damage for big bois and 5% for small characters so trying to fight him at range is insane. All you can hit is the shield, then he bubbles and chucks his ult so you absolutely have to move and everyone else knows where to 3rd party you. They've honestly created a monster
