This video I am showcasing my anniversary gift from my wife. I am an avid pool player and have several cues and have wanted The Color of Money Joss for over 20 years now. My wife decided to surprise me with it and I absolutely love it.

The cue shown in the movie did not have diamonds on the upper part of the butt in the points..however the accents around the diamonds on the lower part of the butt were made a little different

Hello, I have a question? I’m thinking of getting that same cue my question is how does it play? Do you recommend a different shaft? The weight I’m looking at is a 19.5. Can you help with any details.

I'll be very honest with you. The construction of the butt which is shown in the video is extremely solid. I personally am using a custom Kielwood shaft on it, but also have the standard shaft it comes with as well as a carbon fiber one. I very much dislike using my carbon shaft on this cue because it's steel joint so the combination of sounds that the 2 make together on hit just bugs me personally. Joss steel joint cues have a VERY particular sound especially if you run harder tips, so on this particular but I use wood shaft and a softer tip to mitigate that sound. Overall, thing is solid and feels great in the hand and I am also running 19.5oz.

I don’t mind it, however I have a 20 year old sneaky Pete where they just pressed it into the wood so it’s hidden unless you’re looking for it.
