Developing a watch list on time for day trading is hardest for me. My first pickup possibles are overnight percentage gainers. That is at 9:00 NY time. I have 30 minutes to see what is up.Then at 9:45 my source becomes unfrozen . Starting Monday going write in the time when I see a stock I could trade . I had 10 stocks I could trade on Friday. FORD was the last one on my list It gapped up over night by 32%. Why did I not see it? That is why I need to write down the time of day when I first see it . I take profits at 9%,14%, 21% and on up every 7% . CAPR was on my list also but do not know why I did not trade it. Should of been in at 10:10 and out at 10:56 for a profit of 14 % . Thank you for the lesson HT. Going to focus on my watchlist more.

When it comes to swing trading, say I bought stock X at $10 and in 2 weeks it is at $12. When do I sell? Should I hope it will keep increasing or sell at 12? Well on nio , a purchase of 550,000 dollars in around 5.50, and sold areound 7.50 would net 200,000.. So best case half a million.. on large caps you will need several millions… Not utilizing margin anyway.. margin would allow you to use less of course..

It's not completely true, ur swing trade theoretically made less compared to ur day trades. Ur size was much larger and u held it for x amount of days . Those days that u day traded ,avgd % higher per day than ur each swing trade days if u traded the same $ amount on ur day trades u wud made more..swing trades are more riskier as u cant control the gap ups or downs premarket

Very few day traders need ALL of the buying power available to them. The unused cash is an opportunity cost even if your broker pays you a small interest on it. Fearing gaps is hilarious and short-sighted. As much as it can gap negatively against you, it can also gap positively for you. Wealthy people have been holding through gaps since the beginning of speculation. Neither is inherently more risky than the other. They just offer different challenges. I know far more day traders and scalpers who have nuked their accounts than swing traders and investors. FAR MORE because of the high turnover of trades and increased susceptibility to emotional decision-making.

Anyone notice all her videos literally have no point or value to them and the information is so vague and can pretty much be used for anything. Institutions and banks who are the ones that move the market dont care about the news. News has no baring on how we trade. We trade on price action only, nothing more. We dont use indicators and some of us dont even use charts, when price hits a predetermined number we either sell or buy. Thats it.
