I've always heard that cypress mulch is a much better choice that's what I use on my red foots

What brand topsoil do you use for their hides?

I found a red foot that has pyramiding. Seems the red foot wasn't taken care of during it's earlier years. Any thoughts on how to fix it. The red foot seem to be of adult size.

Bro can Redfoots handle the cold? I live in CA and it averages around 60 degrees here and I’m thinking of getting one?
@ShadowsReptiles5 жыл бұрын
Joseph Blocker no they’re more tropical if you can keep them indoors in a warmer are it’d be better

Dude, Good job they all so smooth...no pyramiding at all! Did you maintain the humidity of the temperature or the diet menu?
@ShadowsReptiles5 жыл бұрын
Tronjal Tronjol thank you they’re all kept outdoors in south Florida and they have a varied diet which I have a video on the redfoots are fed a couple different things tho

@@ShadowsReptiles I plan to keep redfoot. In terms of size they are clearly smaller than Sulcata as adult. Unlike Sulcata who's aggressive and has the potential to become a monster if we can't provide enough land. Sulcata is quite destructive for your furnitures. Did you maintain them from baby size? Or did you start caring for them since they are juvenile?
