Really excited for you. Pretty cool to collect a bunch of toys. Enjoy.

Could you please make a review of your vintage workbench? Really like it, maybe would even try to make something similar for myslef in the future...

I love this video. Looking to get one set up at my house for playing around in. I’m not going to be able to find a cleaning machine. But I’m buying that light!!!

You are so right about that light thing. North is the best. Although my ex gf sais, people who go for north are idiots. I am glad that I don’t have to discuss such things with her anymore. :D I wish you success with your new workshop! 🕐⚙️🍸

Real watchmaker. Wears his loupe around his neck while driving! Has some serious coin invested in that shop!

May be too late but I cut 4X8 white dry erase board to cover carpet it is shiny smooth and easy to clean. I then used white duct tape on all seams as to not lose parts between floor and walls.

Have you ever lived in Switzerland or thought about moving there for watchmaking?
@garrinthewatchmaker4 ай бұрын
I would love to but from what I understand it’s very difficult to obtain a work visa for watchmaking as an American. Lots of great watchmakers there already, so it’s hard to convince the government you’re adding value.

@@garrinthewatchmaker thank you for the reply, just subscribed, I live in America as well, I’m 28 yo living in los Angeles. I was going to med school but got into a car accident, and I don’t want to get into details, but I had to drop out and my life took a turn. I’m thinking of pursuing watchmaking. I was thinking about joining Rolex or Patek Philippe school, but they train you mostly to service their watches for the rest of your life and there’s no ladder to climb. I’m afraid to pursue watchmaking because I want to have a family and I don’t know if I can provide if I’m a watchmaker. I’m really interested in the next step of your journey and what you’re going to pursue. Also, how much did you make working for Rolex? Sorry if that’s too personal
