Great Bible! CBP makes excellent Bibles and that’s a perfect size for daily carry. Cute lizard too, that is awesome that he hangs out there and eats out of your hand.

Thank you, sister! Got a few of those lizards....called sleepy lizards...they mate for life, too, and as the weather warms up September onward (in Australia) they can be seen together year after year. This size bible has everything. God bless you!

I purchased the full yapp midsize Turquoise in black licorice because I've usually had black bibles, but your cranberry looks wonderful. If I purchase a handsize full yapp bible, it will probably be a cranberry. I never thought of having a reptile for a pet before, but your lizard took food from your hand. Thanks for giving us a look at your lizard.

I love coloured leathers and this cranberry red is one of my favourite red ones, Philip. The colour has so much depth to it unlike any other leather I've seen on a bible. I have sevaral videos featuring it, and a very recent one as well. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hXioZnapgcqYo9U The lizards are wild and we have a lot on our rural land and they are common to our region in South Australia. Like this one, I have been feeding them for 14 years now, and mst of the older ones know me very well! Like I said, they live up to 20 years and give live birth to one but usually two young. They are very sweet and completely harmless.

I hope you’re enjoying your beautiful Bible. I love your sweet spirit and love for the word of God. I just bought one in the milk chocolate for a gift but I want to get one for myself too. I can’t decide if I like the cranberry or vanilla cover better. The text only layout looks so clean and easy to read.

Thank you Kristen!. The bible is very nice to use and of course it is getting a lot of use! The Vanilla cover is lovely, I like it too, and the Cranberry is as well. I saw a video about the Cranberry bible so chose this because I like red tones but if i had another it would be Vanilla! I have several ironed calfskin bibles and they're beautiful books yet water buffalo hide has something about it that's very different. Maybe you need to get both! In my video I gave the cover a lot of attention because i know that's what people want to find out about but after that is said and done the King James within is all that matters after we have indulged the flesh :-) God bless you.

Sky Everlasting It’s odd that I couldn’t find any reviews on the vanilla besides the one video by Church Bible Publishers. It’s on my wish list because of the distressed cover. I love the inside and font of the Canterbury but the outside of the water buffalo. :)

@@kristen7416 Actually, Kristen, there is a video on the Vanilla by a woman who got the same one as mine but I will need to just go and check my saved video list and will get the link for you. Back in a bit......hmmm. It isn't there any more. She must've taken it down, I am sorry to say. It looked really good, too! But the one in the CBP site is just as it looks, and judging by, say, mine and other people's red ones for leather quality and softness etc it would be the same as this one but in that pretty Vanilla colour. Hope you get one then maybe you can do a video?! God bless.

Sky Everlasting You convinced me. :D I ordered the vanilla and the suit pocket New Testament that I’ve been wanting. I was holding off because it wasn’t a need but I figure I save money on so many other things that I can treat myself to this. Maybe I will have to do a short video so people can see the vanilla cover a little more.

@@kristen7416 Cool....you have bought it..great! You won't regret it and it will be a lovely surprise when it arrives. I am used to mine now and really appreciate it. What country do you live in, btw? You know, your reason for getting this new bible is similar to my own. I didn't need another bible either but wanted this one because it is actually a beautiful thing and after looking at the videos I thought I will treat myself. I save up and can please myself, and there are so many things we spend money on that is not thrilling. Actually, the impetus was provoked by something less than beautiful: we live in semi rural Australia 10km from the beaches yet in a 100y/o cottage barely modernised but it is home. Anyway, we had to get the septic tank emptied (do it once a year) and it cost $250. I thought that if I am paying for that, I have to get this new bible on principle, lol!

Is there any reason why there is no perimeter stitching in your Water Buffalo Cranberry, whereas there is perimeter stitching in CBP's other series such as Ironed Calfskin and Lambskin?

I really don't know but I gues the bible makers could answer that. Bibles these days made of quaility leathers are designed ti last a lifetime.

Hi Natasha, no I do not go to any church because the Lord kept me out of them because in my region none were suitable. I am glad of that because my best bible time is spent with the Holy Spirit of God. There may be one for you, though, but trawling through each one online is the only way to find out what their doctrine is and what kind of minister they have. Any female minister is obviously out. Sky Everlasting yes I’ve had the same situation. I’m from SA but been in QLD for a couple years. Will be moving back to SA soon. I never really found a sound church I could fellowship in back in SA. But you’re right, the Lord meets us in sweet fellowship.

@@nr1785 Wherever we are as children of God we are in Him and He is in us and the Holy Spirit will show the way when we listen. My fellowship is with a handful of brethren who are in 3 countries and that is plenty for me because fellowship helps. God bless you sister in Christ.

Hi sister !!! 😃. Agape love ❤️! I think I have that same Bible with the water Buffalo but the midsize! Is it from the CBP ? Yes it is! I wanted to do a review of another Bible, the Large Print Wide Margin Turquoise from the CBP but I don’t know that many people buying that one! That one is so bulky and in iron calfskin. Hi brother Tony! Ha, you have the same bible as me but in midsize! What colour is your water buffalo? Well, I think that all good bible reviews are good! I mean, all sorts of people are buying all kinds for different reasons and purposes. I have a CBP Turquoise and it's got a lovely largish type face, and that type face is called turquoise, and I love it. It's a black ironed calfskin with finger indexing. I chose that as my second bible a while ago and did a quick review on my larger bibles about 8 months ago which included that. Yes, the lizards, called sleepy lizards or shingle backs, are so sweet. These lizards will let you hand feed them once they know you give them food and water regularly. i have about 20 watering bowls which are tall ones for birds..birdbaths, and ground ones for lizards.I have been feeding that boy 10 years.....he comes straight to me! Sleepy, not sleeping, lizards brother Tony, lol! Yes, they stay on the property in the main and hibernate all winter and come out to mate in September onward. We have a half acre and wheat fields on two sides and no neighbours across the road. Their babies are about 5" long when we get to see them out and about fending for themselves ;they take years to mature since they live so long. This handsize water buffalo is 10 point, btw, and with one eye I do very well! I have reading glasses I sometimes use but when outside I can see really clearly this font size no probs.

Hi, thanks for asking. I read KJV by preference but also enjoy the NKJV and have an MEV as well. All of these bibles are King James bibles :-)
