I can completely understand wanting your wheelchair to “look good”. If you wear glasses to help you see you want glasses that “look good”. If you use shoes to walk, you want them to “look good”. Your wheelchair is a necessity as well as an accessory, of course you want it to look good, be comfortable, be safe and feel confident while out and about.

Ms.G!!! Yay!! It looks so good. I was just counting, I have been watching you for 7 years 🥰🥰 From your first “what’s in my Kate spade bag” to now. You have grown up and need to feel like a grown up. I’m so glad you got a better manual. The power chairs are great but are super hard to get into everyplace that a lot of Manual’s can. Happy for you!

I have a all black wheelchair with black solid tires definitely recommend them. I also have "natural fit" side grips/handles which with my carpel tunnel works well. only thing i hate about all black chairs is they show scratches and marks easy. OMFG the cloths thing, Im struggling so bad with that, cried when i ruined my brand new top last week.

I no how u feel.about the wheel chair looking good and not trying to be that state meant my child wheel chair am excited to get him a new one cant bear that feeling of getting it and placing ur him in it or ur self I seen that pure joy while u was talking about it g smiles for miles chair look sleek and rather nice and it suits u down to a g stay safe

I'm a fan of good design,so thanks for those explanations.I designed Mars rovers 1987,Found people on Mars 2004 5 feet to 6inches tall.You'd be right in between those 2 averages.

i don't think it's silly to say it has to look good to u. it becomes an extension of ur mobility, and then there's all kind's of stigma surrounding a mobility aide. it makes perfect sense to me.

Surely there's an electric mobility scooter you could have that folds small?

She has both the electric chair and a van to transport it and a manual wheelchair. She’s upgrading her manual chair. Although some electric scooters are foldable, they’re not as convenient as a manual wheelchair. The electric can require taking it apart to fold, can weigh twice as much as a manual chair, and requires charging (which may be difficult if you are out for the day). Both types of chairs serve a purpose.
