This is months late, but I remember seeing you on Britta's TPE channel. Now this video popped up after watching her intro to Mustang Magic. It's great that you have many horses, a beautiful property, and that your whole family's involved and supportive. Most of all, though, it's even greater you can get a few mustangs at once, and you bid on the older ones 10+. (May I also say that I'm impressed by your videography skills!) Anyway, time to watch one of your newer vlogs... 😉

Awww, thank you so much! Your kind words truly mean a lot to us! Britta is a wonderful person and so much fun to be around. The older mustangs do have a special place in my heart. Even though you do have to work harder at convincing them to accept you, its truly a humbling experience when they do come to accept you. Brego has really surprised me, I wouldn't have ever guessed that he would be such a sweet heart. He has become another heart horse for me. Rohan is all about the food, but he loves my sister. As for Valiente, he is really reserved and needs the most time. He has come to trust me somewhat, so we have a very businesslike relationship, lol. I am really looking forward to posting their progress this year!

Beautiful horses! ...and I love your name choices!

Awww, thank you! All three names are from movies. Brego and Rohan from Lord of the rings (our family's favorite) and Valiente from Ferdinand.

The barn I board at has a few mustangs from Devils Garden. One looks like a smaller Clydesdale and I think he was called Bud Light? But now he's named Parker.

Oh wow, both names are great! I think that is so cool that he looks like a Clydesdale! It's really amazing how different the horses can be in Devil's Garden. Even though they tend to be on the stockier drafty side, they all have different looks, shapes, and types. I just love the variety!

I can actually smell the horses when you when to pick them up, as I have a good friend who has race horses and I often would go help him with them. Looks like you are growing your stable do you show ride as well?
@SistersHorsingAround Жыл бұрын
Oh WOW!! That's so COOL!! We guess that you could say that it is growing as we have 12 horses total now, 7 are mine (Emily's) and 5 are Sarah's, and that is the most we have had so far (we usually have around 6-8). Most of our horses now are from the wild, with 8 of our 12 horses being mustangs. We both ride, show, and train our horses. We do have plans to show our Mustangs, but that will be in the very distant future, as we like to take things slow and not rush the process with training our horses. Thanks for watching!

Ooh those awful halters-can you feel my hysterics if they put a foot through those hard rope things-ridiculously dangerous horsemanship on the part of Devils Garden workers- I live near Devils Garden and would love to have a talk with the caretakers about their careless horsemanship. I would have had those halters chopped off in the chutes before loading-it seems the National Horses Treasures are not revered as they should be
