My Next Golden Gun [Overwatch]

Playing Symmetra 101 for anyone interested: GENERAL -When you kill someone look away from your tele/gen/turrets, in deathcam enemies can see your buildings. -She shines best in Defense but that doesn't make her useless in Attack, that said please switch if facing difficulties. -Don't put your buildings in the same place every time. Such a lack of imagination! -Your main counters are: Pharah, Winston, Reaper and Sombra. Mei depends on who gets the ambush but she can kill nests. -You are strong against: Genji, Lucio, Mercy and Reinhardt. Tracer has too many ways to escape your grasp. GUN (PHOTON PROJECTOR/ENERGY BALL) -Primary Fire its a 7m beam that attaches to 1 enemy, it breaks after 0.5 secs when losing Line-of-Sight or at 9.5m distance. - The damage of your Primary Fire doubles every second it's attached to an enemy (DPS: 30->60->120) -Changing targets does not reset this charge, but after 1 second without hitting the charge lowers one level. -If you are locked to a shield or Mei's wall you still gain charge, just re-click to the appropriate target and watch them burn. -Don't duel tanks unless they are low or you have your gun charged, most of them have Armor which reduces your damage. -Focus on frail heroes like supports or dps when they are distracted, then you can aim for sturdier foes. -Heroes with good mobility like Soldier and Lucio can't escape your range in time if you ambush them up close, patience is key. -Alt-fire(Right Click) pierces enemies and any barriers (except Zarya's), charge it behind cover and peek to shoot. -Alt-fire moves slowly so aim where you think the enemy is going to move or aim to a group of cluttered enemies. -Switching the timing of your shots will make them harder to dodge, don't be afraid to shoot uncharged Energy Balls. -When defending, charge an Energy Ball towards the enemy spawn and release it right before the round starts. Free Ult charge! SENTRIES -Sentries are that, alarm systems that slow enemies. Deathrooms are easily avoided by smart players and anyone with a mic. -They are used to reveal enemies and help your team kill them, the turrets themselves are not meant for damage. -If 2 sentries can be destroyed with 1 Pharah rocket, they are too close. -Turrets at eye level are easy to spot, instead hide them in bushes, boxes or high in the walls/ceilings. -If you have a mic, consider putting 1 sentry in every doorway and call out any flankers intruding. -When defending, sneak to the enemy spawn and silently surround the exit with turrets before the round starts. Free Ult charge! PHOTON BARRIER -Like Rein's shield, it blocks bullets, missiles, Hooks, etc. but not Melee, Rein's Firestrike, Winston's Tesla nor Sym's alt-fire. -It is a barrier therefore it also blocks: Earthshatter, Self-Destruct, High Noon, and anything that needs Line-of-Sight. -Use your Photon Barrier to cover an ally in trouble, this gives them a chance to retreat or retaliate. -Don't spam it. You can however use to give your Reinhardt a time to recharge his shield. -Timing is everything, if you can bait Road's Hook or McCree's Flashbang you will gain the upper hand in a 1v1. ULTIMATES (TELEPORTER/SHIELD GENERATOR) -Pressing Ultimate%(Z) will tell your teammates the charges of your active tele (ex. Teleporter: 2 charges left) -After putting a Tele, take a different route than the one that leads to it, make them think it is in a different place. -If no big fight is happening or you are playing a high mobility hero like Tracer, do not use the tele, walk to save charges. -On the contrary, if only 1 charge is left it is better to just waste it so you can get a new tele. -Unless there are flankers, don't even bother putting sentries to defend your tele/gen, better have them in the point/choke. -If you have a mic, inform your teammates the location of your building and the direction to go after using it. -Btw, when placing a Teleporter remember people will come out facing you: ( T )-> Sym -There is a grace period after exiting the Generators range, after a while the shields will banish unless you reenter its area. -The range is NOT Line-of-Sight, hide it in unsuspected places! FUN FACTS! -The end of your Primary Fire can lift objects with its tip, even corpses! You can use boxes to hide your turrets. -Symmetra's sit emote can clip into some objects, making it look like she's sitting in chairs, pots, etc. -She is confirmed to be in the Autistic Spectrum, this doesn't mean she is less intelligent just that she thinks in different ways. -Born in poverty was recruited by the company Vishkar at a young age to be groomed into a hard light architect. -She is loyal to the company though the ulterior way they operate has given her doubts about their intentions. -She has an unused voiceline saying "The cake is not a lie." a reference to Valve's videogame Portal.
