I don't think it's that uncommon for women to not wear their rings much, I personally didn't wear mine much especially out of the house because it was a bit too loose and I was afraid of losing it. Also I would have to take it off every time I washed my hands because I hate the feeling of getting my hands wet while wearing rings so it was easier to just leave it off
