Nah this didn't take me anywhere close to 3500 hours, lol. I put way less than 1000 hours into Ninjis so far. Keep in mind that Ninji events were 1 week competitions.

in the moment 5:15 cat mario grabs the flag pole and wins immediately even though the cat suit makes you stay on the flagpole without winning for a few seconds it smells fishy

Lol, that's normal and happens always in that Ninji. Besides, the timer would stop when Mario touches the flagpole, and not when he would stop climbing.
