Just started delving into base building. Love the open loft feel of your base. The glass paneling over looking the vista.....awesome. is it just me or does changing the color on stuff seem so subtle it's almost pointless?

Awesome base. How did you make the pillars that support the roof, are they just the half walls?

@@alextownley1 yes the short walls in free place mode turned sideways, they are hard to get straight exactly but I thought overall they made it look better. Thanks for watching!

does anyone know how to make the "triangular" piece of wall that match the slanted roofs we can see at 3:17? I always wanna do stuff like that where oofs meet with walls but I never found a part that works

I believe it’s a timber wall building piece that you unlock at the construction research computer in the anomaly so you just need salvage data to unlock. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!

@BIGPOPPA2098 Man I just bought it from the anomaly. 400 hours in, unlocked pretty much every base part on the anomaly and just somehow never noticed this one part and been complaining there's no way to properly make proper gables on roofs lol... well thanks!
