What a beautiful back door view! Gorgeous scenery in every direction of the RV. I love the stills incorporated within the videos you captured, some are quite stunning. You look like you are feeling better, I'm hoping that's the case. Glad you have Sadie, and yourself wearing the orange up there during open hunting areas. Stay well and safe, until the next share....thank you.

We will, with kids of that age it could turn out to work well at least for the coming years. ... And it very much depends on seize and layout of the mobile home. Better buy bigger and a little older. Evtl. repairs may cost some money, but can as well provide for a change in routine and result in meeting other people. But too small calls for 'internal rebellion', way more dangerous for such a project. Every family member should have his own undisturbed privacy, important, we know.

Pepper spray won't work on a grizzly because you have to let it get too close for it to get into their face. You need to buy bear spray if you're going to be out in their territory.

To get rid of cooking odors, take a dinner plate and pour vinegar in the plate and leave it out on a table or countertop. After an hour or so, all the odors should be gone. You can also soak a paper towel or washcloth or little towel with vinegar and hang it up to dry. That should also get rig do of all the cooking odors. Works for me, I hope it helps.

I really enjoyed this video and the scenery is fantastic....BUT as soon as I would have seen that "Grizzly Country" sign, I would have high-tailed it to the closest city or town. :-) You might enjoy reading "Undaunted Courage", which recounts the Lewis and Clark expedition. One of my favorite parts of the book is where they think the Native Americans are wimps because they're fearful of bears...until they met them and got a healthy dose of fear themselves. :-) In northern Canada, you do have to be careful of bears if there is a cold summer and there isn't a good berry crop. They will attack people, mainly small children.

My husband and I have traveled Beartooth Hyway 2 or 3 times but it has been 20 yrs ago and we were planning a trip when the pandemic hit. 2020 was an awful year for us and 2021 has started out as bad but I thank God everyday my family is safe. Tomorrow I get my first vaccine! My husband has already had his so I feel blessed. I want to be able to go to Yellowstone this summer but I hope the crowds aren't horrific! You are in a beautiful place! I would not have had the guts to go in Feb. Sadie has grown into a gorgeous dog! And she found herself a great bone!

Hi Carolyn, the Beartooth Highway is one of the most scenic byways in the Northwest. Those old remains of can's and bed frame that you came across are most likely from an old miners cabin or homestead. Lot's of mining history in Absoroka Beartooth Mountain Range. Also the Absoroka Beartooth Range is the most Grizzly Bear populated range in the lower 48. If you get a chance to drive the Chief Joseph Scenic Byway which is off of the Beartooth Highway, it is also very scenic with many camp areas along the way. Scooter with "Rough Riders" :-)
