I’m new to bass house and I came from listening to quite bass heavy genres like deep house and Brazilian bass. I like jauz and notion because although the bass they use isn’t necessarily heavy it isn’t necessarily too light. It takes me a few times listening to get use to a light bass style. And I notice bass house uses that a lot. Like on the drop my skullcandy headphones didn’t vibrate much until the second part. Sorry to waffle but could you explain why such a light sub bass is used on the drop (idk if that’s the right way of phrasing it) I’m guessing it’s because the bass sound is the main focus of the song and a heavy bass would take away from it?
