@@bintangrahmatullah4051 What exactly is the difference? Anything you can do on a laptop can be done on a pc only faster since you have higher clocked parts. A laptop is only a pc but slower. I get it that you can use it as a portable device but that's its only advantage. Dave2d here reviews a lot of gaming laptops and that's mostly the crowd he goes for. I'd much rather use a thin and light portable laptop for my on the go needs and then play games at home on my ultrawide with a proper non gimped GPU. Which is exactly what I do. XPS13 and my desktop with a 8086k and a 1080ti which I will upgrade to the 3080ti when it's out

melvin khosa There’s nothing wrong with being part of the casual laptop crowd. With that said, the crazy high TDP’s needed for the desktop 30 series cards _does_ make me question how well it’ll scale down for laptops. The 10/20 series scaled excellently, but despite being a smaller process node, these 30 cards aren’t that efficient.

As a Ghost S1 owner myself too bad you couldn't test out the thermals with the spine smack against the exhaust fan. Also, very nice to know that if I ever wanted a 3080, I'd have to also upgrade my Corsair SF600 to a 700W or more -- not a cheap upgrade to make for SFX.
