Wow great job!! I've been carving about as long as you and started watching you a few months ago. You are getting crazy good girl! I can only imagine what you could do with a nice gas powered saw and a good carving bar!! The difference is amazing you'll love it! Keep up the good work you're doing awesome!

Aww thank you for the support, mucho appreciated!! I plan to get a gas saw this spring! I might order a quart tip very soon here! Would love a dime tip but I have been told that you should not run a dime tip with electric saws since they run full throttle, and all I have is electric right now. So once I have a small gas saw I’ll get a cannon dime tip :)

O.M.G. I'm amazed at your work . GreT job . Good eye for detail . I do woodworking on side , from my daily job . Thought I would try chainsaw carving . I'll just say , not for me . Got huge maple stump cut from brother . Tree he worked on from his yard . I tried it . I don't have that eye . Or knack for detail . Since I tried it , I have an idea how good you are . My hat's off to you . Keep up the good work . Love watching your videos .

WOW>! I just stumbled across you channel and watched your video of your second bear from 4 months ago. Your progress is nothing short of amazing. We are on a similar journey although I am 30 yrs. your senior lol. I started about 3-4 months ago too. Transitioning from furniture maker. The detail of your work and your your eye for proportion and design are great .I think you have found a calling. You must have some sort of artist training in the past. either way, keep up the good work and have fun.The sky is the limit for you. Oh. It's great that you are using the electric saws. I've been looking at the exact models to allow winter carving indoors and a little less noise for my neighbors. Thanks

I’m actually a registered nurse that decided I’d rather carve cute animals 😂 I have always loved drawing but was always to busy to do anything more then doodle on the side of my notes through out schooling! I have taken a huge leap of faith and dropped my comfortable career as a RN to pursue carving full time! So far I have not regretted this decision and have loved every moment and every challenge! I love my corded saw, I have a battery one as well but my CS1500 is my go to. As my carvings have gotten larger I have had a really hard time blocking out with my CS1500…which is to be expected I guess haha! I plan to get a gas saw in the near future to block out, the use the corded for detail! I have never even held a gas saw so I’m very excited for that!

@@TayMarie23 That's awesome! I think the majority of people that buy or commission a chainsaw carving do it because they love the creativity of the artist. And as the artist you love the challenge! A fun client definitely has to make it more enjoyable! You're welcome. Won't be long and you'll have 100k subscribers! ☺

It was a grind just to get to 1000 subs 😂 It would be a dream to have KZbin be a majority of my income on day! It would allow me to slow down and focus on fewer but bigger and better carvings instead of trying to pump out inventory between commissions to make ends meet! I would love to get to that point one day! Till then I’ll enjoy the grind 😉!

@@TayMarie23 I totally get it, I've been doing this for 2 years and I'm still just sitting at 780. Granted, most of my content has been live streams from my fishing trips, and without a ton of exciting catches, I can't expect a lot 🤣 I always wanted to start a channel making videos showing me making my artwork, but it took finding the catfishing community to get me started on here, and they also inspired me to get back to my artwork after 10 years of not being able to make any new pieces. I haven't learned to edit video yet and have been bad about recording things. So good production videos people will want to watch haven't happened yet, but will happen in the future! I've recently incorporated wood into my work. It's not awesome carving, but the shaping is still very satisfying. My next piece to be finished has a base made out of Zebrawood with back-lit plexiglass. I have to get it finished in the next 3 weeks and shipped to Kentucky to be presented early February. I'll make sure you get to see it when it's done 😊 I look forward to seeing your channel grow as well as your skills! I've seen a number of artists channels grow exponentially in no time, and I think you'll take off like wildfire pretty soon! Maybe when I get caught up on some pieces, I'll make a gift for your channel 😃 Sorry about writing a book, I can talk like no other when there's someone to listen lol

Getting to 1000 subs is hard man, it’s a huge hurtle! Most KZbin creators I have talked to said getting from 0 to 1000 subs was harder then going from 1000 to 10,000! All that matters is that you enjoy making the content you are releasing, the audience will come with time 👌🏼
