My Offseason Baseball Card Purchases-1/1s, SSPs, Juan Soto, & More!

The offseason can be the best time to buy baseball cards. This year I had the chance to buy some cards that I have wanted for a very long time. I had to sell some Mookie Betts cards that I loved, but it allowed me to target 1/1s, SSP super short prints, Juan Soto, and many other awesome cards!

I really love the way you Personally collect. Not many people are willing to sell a card they love, even if it's to acquire something even cooler! Your collecting model is great and something the ALL true PC collector's should follow. On a side note, great pickups!! You are a true collector and that makes this channel all the more valuable, simply because you actually care about the cards you acquire and don't see them solely as dollar signs!

After ripping 2024 Series 1, and a bunch of 2023 Blasters (half price @Walmart and Target) I have decided that I am no longer ripping ANY Topps flagship products. The biggest reason is because of the MVP Buyback Program. There's just so much value to be had in ripping a product, not getting anything from it, but still managing to garner upwards of $80+ at a later date is something cool to look forward to. Waiting until the end of July (when Chrome is scheduled to release) seems like a solid wait time to purchase the singles (from 2023) I want from those flagship releases a year behind. Any thoughts?

I really love how you have sold cards from your PC. I'm always telling people that this card and that card are part of my PC, when IMO, everything always has a price. And it should, look what you can buy when you part ways w/PC cards. IMO, your only PC is Butler. How come you don't want to share prices? If we want to keep the Hobby transparent, why not share the $$$? There are dozens of Card people popping up on KZbin, I don't have the time nor desire to watch them all. I watch yours because of the information and transparency. You collect what you talk about. I know what you paid for the Soto (not to sound creepy, it takes just seconds) but I won't share it here, as I think that that is your preference. Keep the videos coming.

A lot of blue chip guys in your PC. I enjoy blue chip cards, but the value is just so steady its hard to gain or lose value on these. Unless the player is retiring or grabs mvp the value just doesn't move much imo...BTW you gotta stop buying bgs my guy, they're losing value so fast its crazy

terrible time to purchase a soto card, hes more popular than ever before. i would wait till end of season when he disappoints all the NY fans lol I am the same way in collecting, i have zero issues purchasing SGC 9.5s or PSA 9s. Crazy how much less the cards sell for and for a minimal difference, if any notable difference.

He's actually not more popular than ever before. In fact his cards are 25% to 35% of what they were in 2021! For instance... his pink update chrome psa 10 was selling for 2 grand! Now it's selling for 550. His chrome update base psa 10 was selling for 5-600. Now it's selling for 100-125. Stupid comment you made and after this season his prices will skyrocket because Soto is on Fire this year and starting Spring Training better than he ever has before!
