Now that is the way that song should be done, bluegrass all the way.

This reminds me of my grandfather who played this on his squeezebox and we all sang in 4 part harmony. I miss him as much as he missed his old Kentucky home, God rest his soul.

Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. The LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men. From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth. Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy Psalm 33:12-14,18

What a travesty this performance is. This is a beautiful song highlighting the sufferings of the slaves on the plantations. You have turned it into a cheap and superficial jingle. Suggestion: Listen to Al Jolson or Paul Robeson to hear how it should be sung. With feeling and with empathy.
