I find that as long as it doesn't get dried out, sarracenia is super hardy, so it nakes sense.

I’ve been thinking of buying some trumpet pitchers lately and I was wondering what soil mix you suggest?

I use a sphagnum peat moss and perlite mix. You can also just use straight sphagnum moss.

My first carnivourus plant was a flytrap and it died probably 6 or 7 years ago. I didnt know they were meant to be kept outside......
