I think you did the right thing by taking a break when you don't feel like watching it. A lot of people find it hard to get into One Piece at first, so they eventually dropped it. Then some of them give it a second chance when they're actually in the mood to enjoy One Piece, I think that is when a lot of people really enjoy the show and become a fan, especially after they got to a certain arc.

Just finished episode 6. Honestly I think it’s a slow-burn type of show. If people say it’s better than JoJo I definitely have to watch more of it.

hahahaha better than jojo's :))))))) that was one good comment. imo Jojo's was really good like the first 3 seasons. The whole charm of OP lies exactly in this elongated story telling and you will be surprized of just how much you will be returning to these beginning episodes later on, just because of how many connections the writer makes. Also, after you reach the time skip you will be totally sold on it. Just power through the first 300-400 episodes and you'll be hooked. Enjoy!

I have read and now watched and all I can say is it’s the most epic story of all time it’s got more heart then all the other top ten manga combined it’s got the best characters period and the over all story is too good and anime is a slow burn but manga isn’t as slow but it’s worth it just enjoy being with the straw hats there the best😂😅😮

i have always always always been against watching anime, in fact i despised the idea of watching it. i thought that most people who watched it were either social rejects or kiddy fiddlers, gave one piece a go and am thoroughly enjoying it. im currently at the start of enies lobby and have had quite a few good laughs. likely not going to watch any other animes after i finish one piece but this has changed my opinion of some people who watch anime. 8.5/10 so far. franky is my favourite character
