I can't afford a stand-up desk, and I like to keep it all portable as possible, so I'm using a milk-crate to elevate my laptop.

@@climateteacherjohnj7763 Thanks for sharing that! I actually did the same thing for about a year. I had my laptop on top of a few boxes. It definitely works until you decide to save money to make the investment.

I just got mine last month after being an online teacher for almost three years so definitely no rush. What kind of light have you been thinking about purchasing?

Great behind the scenes video. I need the tall stand for my next ring light. I’m interested in how you use your iPad stand (not in this video, but linked in description). Do you just hold up the iPad on your stand or do you screen cast?

I use my iPad stand a few different ways. For VIPKid sometimes I teach from my iPad so the stand holds it up nicely. I also sometimes use google slide rewards for VIPKid and I would simply show my iPad screen to my students. In regards to Outschool I use my iPad as a backup (in case my computer gives up on me) and as a document camera. So when I use it as a document camera I login to my zoom classroom twice (from my desktop computer and from my iPad.) Hope that helps! :)

Ive been thinking of upgrading to a desktop 🖥 and standing desk but not sure yet 😅 I’ve also been thinking of Bluetooth headset but not sure. I love your background !!! I’ve been thinking of going back to getting a white magnetic board again 🤩

I always recommend just doing one upgrade at a time. Always remember your upgrades can count as tax deductibles!

Do you think a box light would be better for people that wear glasses?

That's a great question! I am honestly not 100% sure since I've never used box lights, I would have to do some research on that. But it might be better.

I switched to a box light and it’s much better because of my glasses and the light is amazing. I do have to say though, it’s bulky compared to the ring light :/
