It does need a bit more grinding, to remove that crack, but you cant see it when dry, and I am unsure if it will matter. *it probably would matter if you were making jewelry out of it. I could have polished it a bit more as well, but holding such a small piece cramps my hand.

Thanks. I just like to show people that, while having wheels may be better for speed and cabbing larger pieces, you can accomplish quite a bit with a much cheaper set up.

great color!. the black might be ash. gotta give ya credit, it's hard enough on a wheel with a small stone. A dremel would make me crazy

Hello I would offer $10 for it as I currently do not have an opal in my collection. However, as you do not have a shop, and even if you did, you likely would not ship it the UK. It is indeed very beautiful though.
