My opinion: Influencers Turn Me ** Off ** From Buying Luxury Designer Items

Personally I fast forward ⏩ every time someone mentions collab with a brand or I hear the names Anna Louisa, lily silk, san-rêve... I understand their reasons but I am not interested into that ! the only item from advertisements I will eventually purchase is a 7RP insert (I have also purchased samorga inserts previously) for when I get my Hermès bags. but farfetch is an app I have been using long before I know YT but I still click off whenever someone mentions collar with farfetch. Unless someone does a collab with LV, hermes, DIOR, GUCCI, Prada, fendi,... I am not wasting my time watching this. I really couldn't care about any other brands except for the ones I regularly shop from.

Yeah totally, and if those high end brands are collaborating or intend to collaborate, it will be very obvious like with a few LV things in the past. I would never buy them just because it’s the opposite of exclusive if it’s being sold to the masses. Exclusivity is so important in the luxury market.

I really don't understand how so many young KZbinrs can afford Hermes' or Chanel bags , not all of them make mountains of money . Some of these girls are like 20 yrs old . They can't all have wealthy parents .

Well, there is a lot of wealth out there. Some probably rent them from second hand shops and others probably can save for them because their other life expenses get taken care of by other sources. Where the money comes from doesn’t bother me as much as the pushing of products that makes them less exclusive.

do you like classics ? personally it's the opposite of my style. I find it too boring for me but I like seasonal colors in classic styles, like a mini kelly in jaune poussin

I like to have classics to go with my bolder outfits and I like to have seasonal things that can spice up a basic outfit. For me it’s more about filling gaps in my closet and truly having what I want. It’s very emotionally tied.

@@knowingluxe ah I see, when you have a big collection then you only want to fill in gaps; I find this with my RTW collection, when it comes to bags, I only have 3/4 but I am not a big handbag lover, I prefer RTW and homeware anyways
