Cus I can speak French and am a Habs fan, I get the absolute treat of watching Pierre Houde and Marc Denis, such an amazing combo (Their veterency as a duo definitely make the product that much better). Because of the fact that the playoffs last year were handled only by Sportsnet and TVA Sports, I've grown to actually like TVA Sports, obviously nowhere near as good as RDS but they even rank higher than TSN for me nowadays ( I do miss Sergio Momesso's "Oh my stars!" from time to time though). Theeeennnnn there's Sportsnet, I swear it seems no matter what damn team the Habs are playing the Sportsnet team doing the commentating seems to be rooting for the adversary and when it's against The Maple Leafs, oh my word, no, just no. Edit: Also that RDS/TSN intro, mmmph so good

I am a Caps fan and enjoy their regular team of broadcasters. I am particularly happy with John Walton on radio when I am unable to watch the game on TV. I watched Caps on TNT recently and about went to sleep. The announcers had no appreciable background info on the players and were announcing a different game than the one I thought that I was watching. I refuse to go through all the machinations that ESPN wants me to go through to watch a poor studio show and mediocre broadcasters.

I don't think bias is the right word. For me bias is when the commentators have double standards for refereeing and stuff like that. The Altitude guys are mostly just heavily cheering for the Avs, but at the same time at least trying to call the plays as they happened. Like being happy when the refs miss a penalty on the Avs, while acknowledging that it probably should've been a penalty. And when the opponent makes a great play or something like that, they'll be disappointed because the Avs got scored on, but praise the actual play anyway.
