My opinion on the Hot Toys Doc Ock figure

I got mine to stand alone after a lot of messing around but I would never leave it like that. It could have fallen any moment

what i did is took the goggles from the toys era ock and put it on the hot toys one, works very well imo, looks great wish the arms were more consistant in the rigidity of the ball joints, some of them are looser and some are VERY tight, so you get points where in trying to move the arm, you cant get as much of a 'bend' as you want cuz a joint or 2 wont move, or only one joint is trying to do ALL the turning and im worried ill accidentally break some of those little springs...

I personally think he looks good. I only got goblin coming, though. I missed out on Andrew , Toby, electro, and this guy. I just had too many preordered I was paying off. I think I had 9 of them at the time. But if I can find him, I still may grab him. Good vid man

He will look great anywhere and however you pose him...the likeness wont matter when you see him posed up and looking badass...huge presence due to the tentacles but they articulate so well that u can have him look very wide or not wide at all to save up space in the display

I’m getting this figure but that headscuplt is terrible compared to Jamie fox & William dafoe, Alfred Molina got the short end of the stick! Kinda crazy hot toys miss this when Alfred has so many good expressions throughout the movie

I have the Toys Era one and it's just fine with me. (Thanks for the comparison) Just because it is a Hot Toys figure doesn't matter to me and it definitely isn't worth the price. Just me, I guess. Also, thanks for looking out for us fellow collectors and sharing where you get your figures.
