I grew up in Fresno and was at the show.... first timer btw to one of her shows. So what not everyone seems to know here is that the past couple weeks or so are the first weeks that the theatre has actually been used again in acouple years! Well, it was used. But it was USED by a well known homophobic and proud boy supporting church. The church took over for quite a while and there were protests EVERY Sunday for months, if not a good year or so. It wasn't to bash the church itself or religion at all, but they were aiming to rezone the area and change the whole culture that has kept this part of town so special to so many people. It was a HUGE deal locally. Protests almost got violent a few times. I attended one with my sister in law but found it far too emotionally draining to go every week. The city and locals fought to keep it from being bought by the church for SO long. But we JUST won in the last few months! It was an amazing victory but it did NOT surprise me that the energy was a bit off in that theatre. I think it needs a good cleansing!!! The show was amazing and Colleen was the sweetest human. I cried multiple times, both during the meet & greet AND the main show. It was all so beautiful. My stepdaughter & I had a blast, screamed, cried, & laughed a ton. 💜💜💜

We can’t change the way people perceive us. Especially when you’re constantly in the public eye. No one should ever have to explain themselves to strangers! Right? I think it's common knowledge it's not ok to comment on others physical body, but why do people think it's ok to comment on body experience? If anything, it's them being rude commenting on her experience and not her stating the changes and if she feels happy/sad about it - it's her experience! Maybe they're projecting something onto other, as you said, nothing others can do about it...

I don't know if that count as tradition, but I live in France and Halloween is not really something a lot of people celebrate here. But I live in a really small town where everyone was invited to go trick or treating all together then after it was over we would have this huge party where everyone brought food, drinks and of course candy ! Everyone including adults would be in costume, the whole town was decorated, it was amazing ( everything was free, you didn't have to pay to be able to go to the party, you only had to bring food or drinks). Those parties are truly ones of my most cherished childhood memories !!!

Looking back it may have been a little tacky looking but my brother and I loved it and to this day we still have most of them and look back on them each year when the holiday comes around. We also used to go over my aunt's house and trick or treat with my cousins in their neighborhood. I can’t help but every time I get a bit nervous watching the babies play with Colleen’s makeup because they are putting brushes and beauty blenders that have left over makeup on them in their mouth 😅

Colleen I went to the show in Fresno with my mom, we got meet and greet tickets and I was so nervous but I just want to say every single thing that happened made me happy you are incredible I would literally pay twice as much to watch you sit on stage and eat soup I don't even care, I adore you and your family. I'm so grateful I got to go, it's the second time I've seen you, you brought my mom to tears at the end of the show, you're just so talented and hilarious and I'm so happy you're still willing to perfom.

I can't wait to meet you in January. I feel silly being 45, but you helped me connect with my teenager back in the day. She is 22 now and I surprised her with tickets to your show and she is expecting her first baby. Hopefully she will feel good that day. ❤️

I saw you in Fresno, I'm the guy who's mom grew up with your uncle (and brother), and who also went to Azusa. I made little Mary Kate and Ashley VHS card designs with M & W names instead. I also did a split Miranda/Colleen portrait and a cat portrait of you and Eric. The show was Amazing, truly the funniest and most amazing night in a theater I've had in forever. Thank you so much for coming to Fresno.

I really hope Flynn has fun trick or treating!! I’m sick so I’m planning on just resting on my couch and eating candy 😂

I'm repeating the make-up bit starting from 5:40 just to watch what each baby was doing. 😆 Definitely gave me anxiety when Maisy was putting long objects near her eyes. BUT THEY'RE SO DARN CUUUUUUTE.
@AdorkableArtist922 жыл бұрын
I was getting anxiety when Maisy put the brush in her mouth! It seems like it would be yucky for Maisy to get makeup in her mouth and yucky for Colleen later if she didn't see it happen and wash the brush.

I've had an ED for about 6 years and been in and out of treatment/therapy more times than I can count. Unfortunately I'm not in recovery and am easily triggered by other people's words/ actions around food, body image, weight, etc. I wanted to say thank you for choosing to be aware of your words and actions. I've never felt triggered anytime you've talked about your own experience!!❤️ I'm 9 months pregnant now and nervous for the thoughts that are going to come with post partum. You've actually helped me except my pregnant changing body a lot!! Your open raw content on how body's change and the struggles of weight and food even if it stems from different places has really helped me to see that body's are SUPPOSED TO CHANGE❤️

Love how babygirl is just taste testing all the brushes and she approves. Then Colleen proceeds to use them for her face. This is gonna be me as a mom 😂

Fun (or not so fun) fact!! Shaking the baby's bottle creates bubbles and that makes the baby gassy

Some Halloween Traditions from my family include: -Family pumpkin carving (or painting for little ones) including roasting the pumpkin seeds we collect - watching Practical Magic or other festive show - eating a feast together filled with whatever we're craving most at the time -tarot readings (at home with our own decks) -making festive treats such as pumpkin pie, caramel apples etc. -having a bonfire!! Happy Halloween 🎃

I understand all sides of the weight loss/gain story. I’m sorry you had to go through that because there was clearly no malice intent. I’m hoping that we’ve moved forward, and can continue to move forward to where people don’t comment on others body’s, or when others are talking about their body. I hope we can all feel comfortable in our meat suits, no matter the size, limbs, color, scars, etc. I’m to the point where I can appreciate everyone else’s body’s... but not always my own. Example: I love when women wear skirts and the outline of their stomach shows🥰😍 but I’m insecure about it on myself because of the way I grew up. Even in ✨romantic✨ situations I look at my partner’s body anatomically like, “yeah, that’s cool., I like_____ about them., That’s ___ muscle., Oh, cute a mole, I love these tattoos, etc. ” anyways I love y’all and you’re beautiful just the way you are🥰 Keep your head up and know beauty is in the eye of the beholder💕

Hey Colleen, you probably shouldn’t shake the bottles like that. It causes air bubbles and makes your babies more gassy. Try mixing in a circular motion! ❤❤❤

The sweetest Halloween thing I did this year was watching the Charlie Brown Halloween special. I know it’s past Halloween for you because my boyfriend and I just finished watching it, but it’s a special tradition for both of our families (they’re very special movies for him) and we decided to share our first Halloween night together watching it cuddled up at college. Of course we had to wait until after my choir rehearsal (lol) but it was the sweetest thing and it made me really really happy. I hope your Halloween was special and made you really really happy as well. :)
