Nice overlander I'm planing on checking out my Duster today hoping to some thing simular bit different lift kit , snorkle , winch, roof rack. in time. And emp surge protector 100,000 amps same for house. Car will still work from lightning strike which is 100,000 amps or a emp.

all I will say is in the UK there are limited parts for the duster and the countries that do the parts now have very expensive shipping rates thanks to Brexit. obviously if you are lucky enough to be in the EU your sorted. good luck with your Duster and keep me up to date on Instagram @ellison_adventures as I would love to see the final product.

It’s from Amazon but when I have just checked my orders they don’t seem to sell that exact one anymore, however there are others on there that appear to be similar

Hi, thanks for the revieuw. I'm plannig on buying a new duster this year. I have a question. You say the liftkit is the eiback pro. How much doest it lift ? Dit you get springs only or with shocks ? No driveline virbration with the lift kit. Thanks !!

In this video it was springs only with a lift of 1.75” I think, shocks came later on with Bilstein. Everything runs fine with the lift, it is very stiff however and I am planning to change them out for something else, was suppose to arrive last year but with everything going on in the world my order got delayed and then lost so currently looking for new alternatives

2015? I don't get it, that's the original first model, and in 2013 it was facelifted with much improved interior as well. Did the restyled model come late to UK?

It is a late 2015 model so it is one of the first facelift models, the 2013 model didn’t have the ‘honeycomb’ grill.

How have you got on with the Eibach springs? Any handling issues or vibrations? Have you fitted them with the standard shocks or upgraded ones? Cheers!

They was ok to begin with but now after about 3 years of daily use they are starting to be a pain, will be swapping them out soon and also with a new set of tyres

@@TrolleLOL they are fine when using them on the lanes but when it’s also your daily and they are so stiff you feel everything in the road and the cornering makes passengers feel sick haha

Ye nothing to it really, only sketchy thing about it is using spring clamps but if you have a good set then should be fine. Just a case of out with the old and in with the new

With Dacias the only way in the UK is to improvise, not a lot made for Dacias in terms of overland equipment and accessories

With the Dacia lifted, have you had to replace many CV joints?

No nothing, the only thing I’ve replaced due to faults is the battery and indicator stalk so far

The Duster has options in the car that come from the Nissan xtrail, you can either be in 2wd mode (fronts) auto mode that allows 4wd kick in when needed and then lock mode where it will be 4wd permanently until switched off or speed goes above approx 30mph. I personally leave mine in auto mode all the time and rarely use the lock mode when on green lanes

The roof rack started off as a cheap no name brand off Amazon but then I had it cut down and extended to the 2m long rack I have now so pretty much a homemade one

Not been officially tested but I’ve been on it with my light bar and other lights plus tent, water carrier and 4 large bags full of camping gear so that probably comes to around 170kg maybe more, obviously I’m not on the roof when driving so approx 70kg when moving

@@EllisonAdventures they fit on the hub fine but the you can't get even half a lock on, they hit the back of the arch. Mine is at standard height atm. A lifted duster might not have the problem but just as an FYI bro
