Mmm you have some great gear, great to cary when young and fit , as you are, but for us older fellas still getting out i would be taking just the bar min, safey gear yes ,good sleeping gear good cold weather kit ,even in warmer times, some grub, all up about 26 pounds, plus my lance wood walking stick. And gas cooker. No dog unfortunatly. Great vidio though thanks.

What kind of weight would you be aiming for?

Good question I don't really weigh anything... I probably would if I was going into mountains and stuff but I usually grind one 450m bit and then have relatively flat undulating dense bush.
