It looks like the speed boosters send you out at the EXACT angle you go in at, if that makes sense. Basically you need to be lined up with the pointy tip of the last arrow in the speed booster. If you're not, you fly off at whatever angle you were riding. That's what it looks like, anyway.

Sam, for an intro for a Descenders video you should take a clip of you playing and take a long and hard fall and after,videoshop your face on the character and say “Hello!” That would make my year,dude!
