Same in Pakistani culture, putting the turban on a man's head & chador/shawl on a lady is highest form of respect. It's called Dastar-bandi. It can be for a new chief of a family (like crowning), a student on graduation, or to honour someone for social reason. Even its done for a groom before the marriage party leaves for the bride's home.

I like watching your videos. I have a particular fondness for Central Asian countries, especially the historic Silk Road cities like Samarkand, Bukhara, and Tashkent. I'm really eager to travel and explore all the Central Asian countries, including Kazakhstan. It's sad that there are no direct flights between Astana and major cities in Pakistan. Currently, one has to travel through Dubai, Abu Dhabi, or Doha, which adds significant travel time. This is particularly inconvenient for the many students heading to Central Asian countries, such as Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan, for medical studies each year. Perhaps, after watching your videos, the Kazakh government may consider initiating direct flights, making travel more accessible, especially for medical students.
