Wow, this is incredible!! I have the Roland RD2000 and it has the Hammond drawbar option with the sliders, but I’ve been looking for a midi organ pedal board to add with my setup. It looks right for the price and your volume pedal attachment is a great add. I would definitely need to do something similar to that.

I just started using mine and I have been having some difficulty with the Pedalboard cutting out and either playing no note or getting a drone. I use a program known as hauptwerp. I took a look and it drones if the board is unplugged while a note is playing.But it also drones randomly at times for unknown reasons.

Sounds nice. Very beautiful. I know you love switching the Leslie on and off. However, when on the real thing PLEEEEEASE remember to let the rotary work before switching off or on. I’ve had to repair mine twice after two people switched on and off as if it were digital. So frustrating. Thankfully, the church paid for it, but getting the job done was a headache in itself.

Well it's a year later than my last comment ... I'm actually going to buy these pedals now. I notice that for you, the bench's front leg is actually BEHIND the back of the pedals... So how do you like the bench? Maybe I can just use my keyboard bench (which isn't wide enough to straddle the pedals, but it does not look like you are doing that). I'm 6'6". I do have my E-112 1969 Hammond (in storage elsewhere) that I used as a kid. I remember the bench straddling the pedals (which are of course longer than these). Anyway, yes or no on the bench? Thank you!
@alexlynn4374
@alexlynn4374 16 күн бұрын
@@JeffreySaxophoneTallNewton don’t get the bench. Super flimsy - I set up on a hard surface floor - granted I’m 234 pounds - but it bent the legs away from each other and broke. I say a solid “no” on the bench
@JeffreySaxophoneTallNewton
@JeffreySaxophoneTallNewton 16 күн бұрын
@@alexlynn4374 Thank you, that's super helpful! I'm almost 230 pounds myself. I'm 6'6" ... Regarding the positioning: I have an excellent Hercules piano bench (it rocks). Do you think it will work, since these pedals are not as long as actual Hammond ones (which I have, in storage, with my 1969 E-112). For those, a wide bench is essential, must straddle the pedals. I am just about ready to order (was actually waiting on your reply!). Do you still recommend the pedals? NOTE: he also makes / sells a 16 note version, which is the 15 pound one. This one at 24 pedals, is 23 pounds. I'd get the 16 note, but I need that F on top, as I play Jazz, and that's the 5th of Bb, and a LOT of Jazz tunes are in Bb. I read elsewhere that he uses circuit boards with 8 parts, so 16, 24. Should be 18 and 25 (for that top octave note). But the alternative is the 18 note Viscount, $1100. Comes with an expression pedal though. Is that a Quiklok WS-550, btw? Thank you again!

I’m about to purchase this pedalboard and have a couple of questions. Firstly, is it a good look in terms of functionality and playability? How also did you mount your volume expression pedal on top of it? I read the reviews on Amazon, some good, some not so good. Those who had negative remarks were pointing to the stiffness in the springs, requiring more force, some pointed to contact problems resulting in dead notes, still others had problems with the overall build quality. Super! I just attached my expression pedal to the pedal board and regretted it. What Leslie are you using? It sounds fantastic! I have a Leslie Studio and it sounds good for what I need. My main issue with the JG3 pedals was that they kept coming loose. The bungies were just popping off during church service and I had to wad up paper to keep the pedal up. Then I took the panels off and put rubber washers over the medal parts. I closed it up, said a prayer, and haven't had a problem since.

Greetings. Great video. I want midi bass pedals for home use only without spending on new Hammond or Nord's which probably have too long of spacing for me. If I knew the standard spacing of the one octave of small pedals on like a Hammond M3, I could tell if the Hammond set of 20 would be the right size. I dont know how Nord sells any of their units at that price. I want 17 to 20 notes. One octave of C and to the F or maybe G above. I had JG3's and didnt like them. I am used to the small one octave size pedals on small organs. I've had the Studio Logic MP17's but I do not like the spacing on them. I would pay you to build me what I want. I am in America. Is it possible to take 2 used ugly EBay one octave pedal boards and make them midi and chop the second unit off at F or G above the lowest C? You'd have to weld the two units together or secure them to a bottom floor board. Or there is this kit at the end of this post and the guy built some from scratch but I cant download my own email, let alone use the computer for what this requires. Is that something you want to do? It would need a wood case around it to protect the wiring and make it look decent, nothing fancy. I'd pay with a Money Order. I have one other option and I will call and see if Hammond will tell me about the spacing of their XPK-200GL 20-note MIDI Sound Pedalboard compared to one octave pedals on smaller organs. Any advice appreciated mpc32mqh-kit MIDI Encoder
