My parts in DON (Dead of Night) | TMco - DarC

My first ever platformer deco!! pretty exciting stuff, im so proud of my 4 sets of rooms and think they turned out amazing. im very glad i was able to help with such an awesome level and im looking forward to seeing this level finished! :] it was really cool to work with so many cool people and im very happy to help
Massive shout out ‪@Wespdx‬ , Wes helped me out so much and was an amazing host, they gave lots of feedback and ideas and was just great to work with, they also helped me record my parts so thank you again! haha

Some more info about the parts, the water one was the one i finished first, i was pretty nervous about my ability to make gameplay and deco for platformer as it was my first time but i think it turnt out pretty well!! its pretty simple but it does its job well, the bubbles are sweet and were wesp's idea to make the refresh look like that so ty!! the idea of them being bubbles made me come up with the second screens gameplay so thats pretty cool haha
The pink city is a loose recreation of the album cover art for white ceiling/black dots wandering around by parannoul, ive been obsessed with parannoul recently so i thought itd be cute to hide a reference to him, i also hid a reference to my more hiphop stuff i do in gd with the song i choose to back the part. the gimmick of the inverting colors and stuff took awhile to get down and looking good but i managed to get it done, wesp helped me again with ideas on how to get it working and so did my friend nikoberry which i appreciate a lot
My space one was more so i had an idea for gameplay and less so deco so its a bit under detailed but i really liked the idea, don has this super cool double jump and i hadnt seen anyone try doing infinite jumps so i figured id give it a shot!! it was tricky to make avoidance attacks, ive never done it before so it was something new and fun to try out haha
And last is my shop rooms, these are my favorite ones in the whole level if im being fr. The idea is just so funny and i think i made some really good backgrounds, the idea came from calls i had with friends joking about a shop room and i thought itd be funny to have an actual shop room in the level. be careful around the walmart tho... i heard theres a mysterious sales person wondering around, best to stay safe...
