I’m a major backslider. Thankfully His mercy brought me back time after time again. My heart was genuine but I needed deliverance from strong demons. God allowed me to face the consequences of my constant backsliding and I’m glad He did. Five years of this. Please Don’t Turn your back on Jesus. The consequences are severe. His love is incredible.

I backslid for 20 years until I finally decided to get back to God and repent of all my sins. I know I have been forgiven but that doesn’t mean I didn’t have to pay a price for my sins

What made you backslide, if you can share? I am interested because i have someone close who did and has done some terrible things, i would like to understand. God bless you
@ssfitness7949 Жыл бұрын
@@Catherine4YeshuaI can answer from my own perspective. I backslid from ages 16 onwards. For me it started with an addiction of an evil sin, that sin made it impossible to even attempt to get close to God. Even though you try that bondage stops you from experiencing the fullness of God's presence in your life. This will eventually lead to being down and depressed, which then leads to more sin in an attempt to have some sort of fulfilment in life. People backslid when they can't come out of sin from my experience, or they stop trying to come out of it and believe it's just normal human behavior.

THIS is my issue I know God has forgiven me for my past sin but theres stuff I did while I was completely lukewarm that I should've been held accountable probably for but wasn't so now I don't know if what I'm supposed to do is go and be held accountable for my past here on earth I'm not talking about heaven or hell but freedom or jail I mean the stuff I did didn't hurt nobody but it was illegal what if now its a sin for me to not have done the time I probably should've done and then part of me is thinking what if I am free because God is giving me another chance????? WHAT DO I DO, I try to ask him but I don't really hear anything and get confused

Okay, well, that's a sweet fantasy to have, but at some point, that becomes tiring. you want your life back. you get tired of suffering and watching the best of life pass you by. to me, I can't help but wonder, what good is God if He never does anything? I'm just tired of suffering and the pain. I pray and beg God every day to do something or if a second chance is out of the question, just take my life and be done with it. I think God just wants me to live just so I can suffer. I just feel like God hates me and has always been against me.@@Seneca.N

This is he which received seed by the way side. 20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; 21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. 22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. 23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty
