Although our mollys and platies are multiplying so fast it’s impossible to notice to decrease in fish the goldfish (which don’t breed as much if at all) are being eaten by some sort of bird. Oi Paul, even though the patio bowl looks sauce. You might want to cycle for more than 2 or 3 days. I know your on well water so you don’t need to declorinate the water, but you still need to cycle it so the fish don’t die from an ammonia spike or anything else that happens because of not cycling.

Hey Paul, nice selection for the patio pond! If you were curious as to the types of mollies and platies you grabbed, I think I know a few. Most of the Platies you got were Sunburst or Red platies (The ones with the black on their tail are known as "Wags"), and the "oreo" ones you got are dalmatian mollies (mollies and platies are similar, but different, kind of like turtles and tortoises. Mollies can even live in salt-water tanks!) You should consider getting a centerpiece fish for the patio bowl like a female betta or dwarf gourami! Great video, keep it up! Can't wait to see more updates on the house

Seriously, mate. Why do you refuse to cycle your aquariums completely before throwing fish in them? You are effectively sentencing them to death because they don’t have what they need to survive in the water you have put them. This is irresponsible! He is using cycled materials so the bacteria is already colonized I can understand where your coming from though a lot of the time he does just throw stuff in but it’s his hobby and the only opinion that matters is his and the fishes and the fish are doing well so just stay positive.

@@kolby343ko even if he adds beneficial bacteria he has to wait at least 2 weeks, I did with my 30 gallon and I still had to wait a month and I tested every day. With his goldfish video with his 10 gallon tank in his friends house he added in the fish the same if not the next day.
