MY PB Summer Steelhead caught on a spinner in fast, low/clear water!

This morning when I got to the river, I went to get everything set up and asked myself if any fish were in this hole. That question was answered immediately when I saw a nice size fish roll in the fast water. I grabbed my spinner (Blue and chartreuse addicted spinner.) and went to work. I started at the top of my run and was trying to make a wall to get him before he went up and over. I then demanded that he show himself and he quickly responded by rolling again lower in the run. I moved down and shortly after my first cast running the spinner through, I felt a tug and reeled into a really nice fish and he set the hook on himself turning down river. He fought hard and went on some really nice runs and jumped a few times, but I managed to work him up into some soft water and after being able to identify it was a hatchery fish, I pulled him up on to the bank and gave him the Ol' bonk. He measured out at 24" x 14" (estimated around 7-8 lbs.) and altough the lighting from the cloudy morning didn't do it justice, it was dime bright.
